Building Capacity for A More Effective Regulatory Compliance and Digital Transformation in Adron Homes
Mitiget Learning Academy (MLA), a leading provider of professional training and capacity-building solutions, is pleased to announce that the May 2023 Document Handling and Digitization Analyst (DHDA) training program with Adron Homes & Properties Limited (Adron Homes), a leading real estate development company, has been completed successfully. The training took place at Shimawa in Ogun State. It provided participants with the skills and knowledge required to handle critical customer and business documents to meet regulatory requirements and effectively respond to the demands of its teeming customers. The program also exposed the team to tools and techniques to consistently manage sensitive documents’ quality and structures to radically improve the control system, nationwide. It included a combination of academic and practical lectures as well as demonstrations of current industry trends and best practices in document management and digitization. This contributes to its goal of securing suitable housing for everyone, regardless of social class, income level, or anything else.
Barrister Shola Orunmuyiwa, the Director of Legal, Compliance, Audit and Documentation, who was also a participant at the training considered the program as pivotal to the realization of the Adron Homes’ mission. At her opening speech, she admonished the participants who are lawyers themselves to “make optimal use of the sessions to hone their skills to be relevant and contribute to the next innovative drive of Adron Homes in enhancing efficiency and productivity to better position the company to be more customer-centric and with sound compliance posture.” She also applauded the intervention of MLA as being timely considering the ongoing nationwide document management project being part of Adron Homes’s digital transformation initiative.
The CEO of MLA, Mr. Sunny Ukeachu, who also facilitated the training commended the management of Adron Homes for being a pacesetter in the real-estate industry in Nigeria and beyond. He stressed that “Adron Homes has shown leadership in the provision of decent and affordable housing in Nigeria. With this drive to build capacity for records management to enhance value, and reduce risk and cost, the company would be more efficient and have more opportunities in the local and international markets.”
The sessions combined classroom teaching, practical exercises, group discussion, and case study with actual Adron Homes based projects to provide a complete action learning experience. The course enabled all participants to imbibe a set of new knowledge, tools, skills, and direct experience of how to implement an effective document control system in a real company setting considering that the real estate business is characterized by document-based processes. As the management of the company has taken a strategic decision to implement technologies and best practices for faster service delivery, enhanced customer experience, and adopt agile business models, its stakeholders are being positioned to build competent enough to respond quickly to the shift in market trends, customer expectations, and competitors’ strategies.
“We are delighted to have collaborated with MLA to be part of this course. As a company at the forefront of the real estate industry, we understand the importance of adopting digital solutions and efficient document management practices. This course provided the boost, invaluable insights, and tools to enhance our overall operational efficiency” Barr. Orunmuyiwa stated in her remark at the concluding session. On the other hand, Mr. Ukeachu said, “We couldn’t be more delighted to work with Adron Homes, building capacity for its people. The overall positive feedback we got from the participants, convinces us that the stakeholders are ready to help the company make strategic transition through reinvention of business processes and commitment to compliance. We thank the management of Adron Homes for the opportunity to help impart skill to its people.”
The course closed with the presentation of a certificate of attendance to those that successfully completed the sessions.
