July 1: Thirty people were kidnapped and two vigilantes killed by bandits in Nasarawa, Nasarawa.
July 2: Forty members of the terrorist group Boko Haram were killed by the Nigerian Air Force in Gwoza, Borno. An attack in Mobbar, Borno resulted in the deaths of two civilians, three Nigerian soldiers, and seven Boko Haram militants. Two Bandits killed were in Batsari, Katsina. The Nigerian troops killed two robbers in Jos North, Plateau. Four people died during a communal clash in Donga, Taraba.
July 3: Ten Boko Haram militants were killed by the Nigerian troops in Bama, Borno.
July 4: Unknown gunmen killed three and abducted eight persons in Kurfi LGA and Matazu LGA of Katsina.
July 6: Herders killed two in Logo, Benue. Fifteen civilians were killed by bandits and Nigerian troops killed forty-six bandits in Batsari, Katsina. A Nigerian soldier died in an explosion caused by Boko Haram IED in Kaga, Borno.
July 7: Heavy fighting in Damboa, Borno resulted in thirty-seven Nigerian military and seventeen Boko Haram causalities. The Nigerian troops also killed two bandits in Sabon Birni, Sokoto.
July 8: Two farmers were killed by gunmen with ten others kidnapped in Toto, Nasarawa. Kidnappers killed two police officers in Oredo, Edo.
July 9: Eight persons were abducted in Abaji, FCT. Twenty bandits were killed in an operation by the Nigerian Air Force in Talata-Mafara, Zamfara. Gunmen killed two naval officers in Lokoja, Kogi. Gunmen killed nine in Kauru, Kaduna.
July 10: Gunmen killed eleven in Kauru, Kaduna. Two herdsmen were killed by the Nigerian troops after an attack by herdsmen killed seven civilians in Logo, Benue. Gunmen kidnapped three in Ekiti East, Ekiti.
July 11: Gunmen killed three in Dutsinma, Katsina. Forty bandits killed by Nigerian troops killed in Talata-Mafara, Zamfara.
July 12: Gunmen killed two and kidnapped twenty in Chikun, Kaduna. In Zangon Kataf also, one person died from gunmen attacks.
July 13: Kidnappers abducted five in Gassol, Taraba. Eight Nigerian soldiers were killed by Boko Haram militants in Konduga, Borno. Four Nigerian soldiers were killed by the group in Kaga, Borno. Boko Haram also killed ten civilians in Maiduguri, Borno.
July 14: Four bandits in Danmusa, Katsina and six bandits in Zurmi, Zamfara were killed by Nigerian troops.
July 15: The Nigerian Air Force killed ten Boko Haram militants in Bama, Borno. Three bandits were killed by the Nigerian troops in Sabon Birni, Sokoto.
July 17: Nigerian troops killed six Boko Haram militants in Kolofata, Cameroon.
July 18: Six children died in a bomb explosion in Malumfashi, Katsina. Kidnappers killed two vigilantes in Gassol, Taraba. Also, kidnappers abducted six in Chikun, Kaduna. Seventeen bandits were killed during a clash in Jibia, Katsina which also resulted in the deaths of twenty-three Nigerian soldiers. Boko Haram killed three in Chibok, Borno.
July 19: One police inspector and twenty-one civilians by suspected herdsmen in Kaura, Kaduna. Four kidnappers were killed in a joint task force operation in Lokoja, Kogi.
July 20: Eleven reported died in suspected Fulani militia attack in Zangon Kataf, Kaduna. Bandits kidnapped sixteen in Rafi, Niger state. Ten bandits killed in a military airstrike in Talata-Mafara, Zamfara.
July 21: Violence in Kauru, Kaduna led to three deaths. Bandits killed three in Batsari, Katsina.
July 22: Kidnappers killed one police officer and kidnapped four in Akamkpa, Cross River. Boko Haram killed five kidnapped aid workers in Borno. Kidnappers abducted seventeen in Safana, Katsina.
July 23: Military airstrikes killed ten bandits in Birnin-Magaji/Kiyaw, Zamfara. Kidnappers abducted five in Jada, Adamawa. Fulani militia killed seven in Kajuru, Kaduna.
July 24: Bandits killed ten in Jema’a and Kaura LGAs in Kaduna.
July 28: Accident Investigation Bureau reports that Osinbajo helicopter crashed in Kogi was caused loss of visual contact by the crew.
